Brits urged to book Costa Blanca holidays
More Brits could be jetting off on a Costa Blanca holiday this year following the launch of a new campaign aimed at attracting them to the destination.
According to Roundtown News, tourism bosses in Costa Blanc are spending some €400,000 (£328,680) on an advertising campaign designed to tempt British holiday makers back to the area.
While taking a Costa Blanca villa holiday continues to be a popular choice for many, the economic downturn has seen demand for these breaks reduce and the tourism sector is keen to help boost interest.
Figures from the Costa Blanca Tourist Board reported by the source suggest that British visitor numbers have risen this year, due to the strength of the pound.
On a holiday to the Costa Blanca, Brits can expect good weather as the destination boasts some 2,800 hours of sunshine every year, as well as stunning natural landscapes and a sea warm enough to swim in for most of the year.
