Author planning Corfu villa holiday
In an interview with the Times, the Birdsong writer said he will be renting a villa near Kassiopi on the north-east coast.
He said that he had been working non-stop since September and has only had five days off since then.
A villa holiday in Corfu will therefore be the perfect way for him to relax and recharge his batteries.
Faulks said his two children also deserve a break, since they have just completed their GCSE and A level exams.
Since Kassiopi boasts five pebbly beaches with boat trips that take families to smaller islands to go swimming and snorkelling, it could be an excellent choice for a family getaway.
Those planning their own Corfu villa holidays could stay in the resort, which is also home to a bustling harbour with numerous bars and restaurants.
