Ascain in Biarritz

The traditional village of Ascain is perched between mountains and ocean in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The town is characterised by the pretty chalet and Basque-style buildings, situated amid green hills and boasting magnificent views of the surrounding area. Our house is located on the outskirts of the village, just a short walk from the centre where you will find a variety of amenities, including shops and restaurants. Located just a few kilometres from the Spanish border, Ascain is perfect for exploring south-western France, and hopping over the border into Spain for the day. The historic city of San Sebastian is well worth the easy drive across the border, and Biarritz is less than thirty minutes away.
