"Setting of the villa was perfect with sun on the pool from sunrise to sunset. Villa was compact, not a lot of spare space but outside areas were perfect. The villa had everthing required for a lovely break."

"The villa was beautiful with the most amazing views. The area was so peacful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. One slight downside is the access road which is very narrow and bumpy. I would not recommend driving to this villa at night, it definately needs to be approached in daylight."

"Carranquita is a beautifully situated and equipped villa. It is also very spacious and comfortable and, depending on where you sit, you have a different view from each of the terraces. The pool is very well maintained and underlit, which looks great when it begins to get dark! It really is a special place to recharge the batteries and chill out."

"Villa Antonio Ortega was well kept, very clean with a lot of attention to details to ensure a pleasant stay. It was located in a nice and peaceful location which while easy to reach, was still remote enough to give a real away from it all feel. Nice views in all directions and sun on the pool area from early morning to sunset. Would definately return again."

"We have just returned from a weeks holiday and loved every minutes. The only issue I had with the whole holiday was that there could have been more information about the surrounding area. On arrival, as the villa was ready, we travelled into Nerja, ate and did our food shopping. However, the following day we ventured into the beautiful village of Frigiliana. It was full of beautiful shops selling amazing fresh fruit, veg and fresh bread. I wish I has known this before visiting the supermarket as I felt that as we were only there a week I had missed out on the experience of shopping in this traditional Spanish Village."

"The villa was lovely and the location was great. We've booked many times with James and have never really had any problems but this time I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't even a cloth to wipe down the kitchen surface - best of James we expect a little more. These kind of basic cleaning things you don't really expect to have to buy. Otherwise, great. We even met Senor Antonio Ortega himself!"

"Antonia Ortega was an outstanding villa. Everything we could have wanted was provided for us and the cleanliness and attention to detail in the furnishings was fabulous. Location was fantastic if only the weather had been as kind to us! The only thing I would say is that the description of the villa on the website does not mention a sea view and this was the icing on the cake for us! Thanks James, you did it again!"

"the location of Zalia and track to it, would not be to everyones liking, but it does mean privacy and all the benefits of a 'rural' location. I would return, but would be very careful who I recommend Zalia to due to the track - - - - but overall the cleanliness was the best we have experienced - - loved it"

"This was our 3rd holiday with James and the best so far. This villa was outstanding and the owner was charming. We had a wonderful holiday and the villa was everything and more than we hoped. The local town was gorgeous and the car hire was so so easy - just great all round. One tiny thing - the directions to the villa are more complicated than they need to be and therefore a bit confusing - perhaps someone should re-write them - having said that we found it eventually and it was a case of once you know the track it was easy."
