Three hard tennis courts are available, complete with floodlights for those who prefer to play in the cool of the evening. There’s no need to bring your equipment with you, as racquets and balls are available to hire in resort. A list of playing partners is also available in resort if you wish to enjoy a match. It is approximately €5 per hour to use the courts, and for €6 per hour you may hire 2 rackets and balls.

Mini golf, ping pong and volleyball are available to James Villa customers and are free of charge to use. Alternatively, why not hire a bike to explore the resort and wider area, prices start from €30.00 for 3 days hire.

A mini market is available to guests in the resort centre, stocking all the essentials you need for your holiday, along with a selection of daily newspapers and other non-food items.

A selection of family-friendly restaurants is available within the resort, serving breakfast, light lunches and relaxed, alfresco suppers. Barbecues, buffets and themed dinners are also held on certain evenings while the resort bar is a great place to meet up for a pre-dinner cocktail or to share a bottle of wine.

The Restaurante Rabelo overlooks the communal pool and offers delicious buffet breakfast. Guests can pay for their breakfast in advance at the resort reception.

The main restaurant, the Trattoria Oliveira serves lunches and dinners including a selection of Italian cuisine such as pizza and pasta, as well as traditional Portuguese dishes and international foods.

Quinta do Paraiso also boasts two pool bars including the main pool bar, Caravela, and the smaller Veleiro pool bar. Both bars offer alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

During July and August there is also the new Barbecue Garden Restaurant, which is located behind the Trattoria, near the mini-golf area. Offering a peaceful and cosy atmosphere, complete with background music, they serve some fresh specialties from the Grill with different themed evenings.

Children aged 4 to 12 will love spending time at the Clube Q kids’ club where a programme of sports and fun-filled activities offers a great holiday experience, ensuring that parents have some time to themselves to relax and enjoy the resort facilities. The kids club is free of charge for James Villa guests at Quinta do Paraiso.

The resort hotel located within Quinta do Paraíso features three fantastic outdoor swimming pools and two children’s pools where children can enjoy a fun splash-about with their friends. Comfortable sun loungers and parasols are positioned around the pools while the Caravela bar is on hand for those cooling drinks.
