Olhos d'Agua in Algarve
The popular resort of Olhos d’Agua was traditionally a fishing village where boats would pull up and fishermen mend their nets, and today the cobbled streets are lined with a superb selection of restaurants serving international cuisine and, of course, many fish specialities. Evenings are laid back in Olhos d’Agua, so those looking for something a bit livelier can head to Albufeira which is only a few kilometres away. The freshwater springs “Eyes of Water” which give the resort its name can be viewed among the rocks at low tide, while there are plenty of other activities available on the beach to keep you occupied, including snorkelling among the nearby coves.
