Visit the Flower Film Festival on an Umbria villa holiday
Between July 1st and July 5th, the Flower Film Festival brings its own unique brand of festivities to Assissi.
According to Perugia Online, the festival is intended to "promote a greater love and appreciation of nature, the environment and countryside".
It will reportedly include a number of thematic showings and organisers claim that the "green heart of Italy" plays an important role in the festival by providing rich landscape, nature, culture and history, as well as great wine and food.
Those renting a villa in amiable Marsciano will find that Assisi and its own charms are just a drive away, while near the villa they may discover a popular ice cream parlour that attracts visitors from miles around to taste its freshly made treats.
