Excellentia Umbria holiday on the cards

Perugia will play host to the latest edition of the Excellentia review of Italian passito and dessert wines – and you could be there.

According to Perugia Online it will "once more be smoothing the palates of visitors" to the city this summer.

Holiday makers renting a villa in Umbria next month could have their tastebuds tickled between June 12th and 14th.

A mere 30 minutes drive from Perugia lies the hilltop setting of Todi and those who rent a villa here could be treated to one of the most mesmerising medieval squares in the whole of Italy.

Meanwhile, Todi is also a pleasant drive from Porchiano, San Vernanzo and Montecastello di Vibio, while a villa with a private pool and a stunning view of the Umbria countryside may tempt a few holiday makers to stay where they are and soak up the rays.
