Classical music comes to Perugia

From September 12th to 25th, the Sagra Musicale Umbra will be taking place in the city, filling the air with some exciting sounds.

The event is likely to feature some top composers and orchestras who will flock to the region to put on some spectacular performances.

Concerts will also be staged by choirs and solo singers, including the Wiener Choralschola and the Kamerinis Choras Brevis di Vilnius.

Holiday makers who fancy a trip to Perugia to enjoy the music and explore the city could rent an Umbria villa in Castel Rigone.

Perugia is just a short drive away, so a tour of the city and some of its famous landmarks could also be on the day's itinerary.

Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by hills, olive groves and vineyards, is also close to Castel Rigone for a day trip.
