Woodstock comes to Tuscany
Taking place on July 16th, the event will be held at the Stadio Armando Picchi in the port city of Livorno.
Numerous singers and bands will be taking to the stage to perform their own versions of the songs played at Woodstock in 1969.
Woodstock Wave forms part of the Italia Wave Love Festival, which will continue on the evenings of July 17th and 18th.
A number of acts have been confirmed for these evenings, including Placebo, Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin.
Those who hope to attend the event could rent a villa in Bibbona, which is close to Livorno as well as the Tuscan coastline.
From here, holidaymakers can also venture inland to explore the countryside, either on foot or by bike, or take a day trip to the city of Pisa.
