Villa 'fun in the sun' to be had in Florence

According to the Florentine, the area's beaches in August are "one of the best things about Florence" as they juxtapose soft sandy beaches with shaded alpine woods.

The publication states that the Versilia coastline - which stretches from Massa Carrara to Lago Massaciuccoli - is a "unique" sight with Forte dei Marmi a particular delight.

Forte dei Marmi is described as Tuscany's "playground for the rich and famous".

Those who want to fit in with the locals on the beach are urged to try focaccia sandwiches that are loaded with local delicacies, as it will save money and make you look like a true Tuscan.

A villa in Vicopisano could be ideally located to explore Forte dei Marmi and the city of Florence, while offering stunning countryside itself, which is perfect for picnics.
