Villa Le Corti opens its doors on a Tuscany holiday

The Alla Corte del Vino festival is a small wine fair held at Villa Le Corti in Florence.

Here, visitors can taste many different local vintages and they also have the opportunity to purchase a few bottles to take back to the Tuscany villa.

The wines come direct from the producers, meaning holiday makers will know exactly where their wine is coming from.

They can also learn about the industry and the wines they purchase by attending some of the seminars that are held throughout the cultural event.

But a villa holiday in Tuscany is not just about indulging in the delicious food and fine wines of the region, holiday makers can also expect to enjoy some of the beautiful architecture.

A trip to Florence will allow visitors time to appreciate some of Italy's most beautiful art and architecture, with the Afuzzi gallery and the statue of David just a couple of attractions they will not want to miss.
