Tuscany villa holidays 'flourishing'

A growing number of people are enjoying the ease of booking a stay in a Tuscany villa on the internet, writes Elizabeth Payne in the Ottawa Citizen.

The reliability of word-of mouth information means that Tuscany holidays booked on the web are rarely a disappointment, the report observes.

According to the feature, it can be difficult to believe that accommodation booked from the comfort of a tourist's own home can emerge in reality as a homely, personal and luxurious alternative to a hotel.

However, it may be in this department that Tuscany villas deliver, time after time.

"A Tuscany villa holiday is where "the world of rentals by internet really flourishes", notes Ms Payne.

Tourists heading to the region may wish to consider Montelopio, in the Peccioli area of Tuscany, which hosts the Festival of San Colombano at the end of September.
