Tuscany villa holiday offers a marriage of operas and concerts
Professional singers don costumes to entertain crowds in what is described as a "beautiful and intimate" setting, with refreshments available to purchase in the interval and programme notes in a variety of languages.
Operas this year include Tosca, La Traviata, The Marriage of Figaro, Rigoletto and Carmen.
Most of the concerts stay faithful to their original version, the organiser says, although a couple of "slight adaptations" have been made to the masterpieces to better suit the location.
Of course, there are a number of other activities holiday makers can take advantage of in Florence or the Tuscany region.
The Mediterranean climate might be lovely for families who want to experience pleasant surroundings and a warm summer, as well as delicious Italian food and European culture.
