Tuscany villa holiday makers 'treat their tastebuds'
A holiday in Tuscany may be the perfect opportunity to "give your senses a treat", a travel writer has asserted.
According to Amanda Hardy of iafrica.com, people on a villa holiday in Tuscany may wish to participate in a wine cellar tour, followed by a lesson in preparing traditional local food.
Soup, pasta and antipasti dishes can all be prepared during such a tour, which often includes a lunch or dinner so that holiday makers can enjoy the results of their work along with a glass of wine.
"Take away memories of a full stomach and a happy heart," Ms Hardy wrote.
DiscoverTuscany.com reported that there are a number of things to do in the Italian region that may attract holiday makers on a Tuscan villa break.
Cyclists will be sure to enjoy the region's rolling hills, while people looking for a bit of summer sun may prefer to explore the sea coast and islands.
