Tuscany is a "wishlist place"
Journalist Stuart White, who travelled to Florence for getreading.co.uk, said the city was seductive and a place where holiday makers would not wish to leave.
Mr White described the city as one of the best places he had ever travelled to and urged Britons not to "put off going any longer".
Described as the jewel in Tuscany's crown, Florence is the perfect destination for Britons looking to soak up some Italian culture in stunning surroundings.
Holiday makers taking a break in Tuscany can spend time wine-tasting, shopping in the many glamorous boutiques or even take a bike tour and make the msot of the glorious weather.
Meanwhile, some of the cultural highlights of Florence include the Uffizi Gallery, the National Museum Il Bargello and the Museum of San Marco.
