Tuscany holidays 'offer great food'
According to Luxist.com, the popular holiday region is a great way to relax and let one's taste buds do the work.
The gorgeous hills and groves present on Tuscany holidays are a wonderful backdrop to trips abroad and holiday makers are advised to ensure they make the most of the area's culinary prowess.
Of course, no Italian meal is complete without an accompanying beverage and the article observes that this aspect is also done well in Tuscany.
"What goes perfectly with Tuscan food and Tuscan scenery? Tuscan wine of course," the publication states.
Wine tasting can be enjoyed at Omellaia, the famous wine estate in Tuscany, while a visit to the medieval village of Bolgheri was also recommended.
Ralph Plath recently wrote in the Ottawa Citizen that young people may find a visit to Italy awakens their inner traveller.
