Tuscany holidays 'accessible to the average Brit'
While the Italian hotspot was the favoured holiday location of Tony Blair, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner points out that "lesser mortals" may also enjoy the region's delights.
Highlights named by the publication include Pisa and its famed leaning tower, the artistic wealth of Florence and San Gimignano, as well as Siena, Lucca and Livorno.
Simple delights are also said to be a fundamental part of a Tuscany holiday, with the region's world-renowned food and wine promising to give any trip that vital edge.
"If you've never visited Tuscany before, it's well worth a try, offering something for everyone from gourmands to culture vultures to sun-seekers to difficult-to-please children," asserts the newspaper.
Meanwhile, the Independent recently suggested Italy as the ideal holiday destination for new families with young children.
