Try Tuscany for a healthy holiday
A stroll around the streets of Florence is an ideal way to burn some energy while enjoying the region's famous food on a Tuscany holiday, reports Forbes.
Dr Richard Stein, professor of medicine at New York University Medical Centre and director of the university's Urban Community Cardiology Program, told the publication that travellers should look for ambulatory exercise opportunities on each day of their overseas break.
"If you can walk and do interesting things, that's great. I love vacations where you go to a place that lends itself to a lot of walking. Florence, for example. You can walk the entire city," he suggested.
Ghizzano could be a good Tuscany villa option for people looking to visit Florence while enjoying the region's other delights, as it's a driveable distance from the city.
Meanwhile, a recent report in the Calgary Herald featured Canwest News Service's Elizabeth Payne discussing the wealth of things to do in Tuscany.
