Solve 'artistic mysteries' in Tuscany

Until September 28th, holiday makers visiting the famous palace will have the opportunity to view the work of some of the world's finest impressionist painters and even take part in an artistic "whodunit".

Upon arriving at the Palazzo Strozzi visitors will be handed a series of clues and asked to solve a "fictitious puzzle" entitled The Mystery of the Dead Impressionist.

Artists featured in the exhibition include Van Gogh, Signac, Sisley, Renoir and Morisot.

The Hidden Techniques of the Impressionists exhibition is open to visitors daily and invites holiday makers to view paintings up close and take part in detailed examinations of the impressionist canvasses.

Meanwhile, other attractions open to those enjoying a villa holiday in Tuscany include the Uffizi Gallery, Porcelain Museum and Palatine Gallery.
