Should Bond fans take a Tuscany holiday?
Derek Moore, chairman of the Association of Independent Tour Operators, has commented on the increasing trend of people travelling to sites at which their favourite films were made, in news that may be of interest to those considering a Tuscany holiday.
The current screen incarnation of the spy hero is played by Daniel Craig, who was spotted by the Daily Mail filming action sequences for the next instalment of the series in the Tuscan town of Siena earlier this year.
Mr Moore said: "There is a growing trend for people looking to travel to a destination for a particular reason, such as for adventure and activity holidays and a place's association with a film is also triggering such visits."
Quantum of Solace, the next James Bond film, is released in the UK this October - leaving plenty of time in which to book a Tuscany holiday.
