See paintings by the masters on a Tuscany holiday
More than 90 paintings from the Rothschild Collection by Renaissance masters will be hosted at Casa Buonarroti, according to the Florentine, so there should be plenty of things to feast the eyes on.
The majority of the pieces may have never been displayed before and anyone renting a Tuscany villa from now until September 14th could head to the cultural hub that is Florence to catch them.
"Works by Pisanello, Jacopo Salimbeni, Leonardo, Raphael, Fra Bartolomeo, Benozzo Gozzoli and many other 15th and 16th-century artists will be on display in this exhibition," the newspaper adds.
As the name suggests, the museum includes a wealth of pieces by iconic artist Michelangelo Buonarroti, including Two Wrestlers, Battle of the Centaurs and a model of the wagon used to transport the famous statue of David from Piazza della Signoria to the Accademia.
