Rock out on a Tuscany holiday

From July 16th to 19th, several acts including The Chemical Brothers, the Verve, Gnarls Barkley, Sud Sound System and Linea 77 will play at the Italia Wave in Livorno, while rock lessons will be given on board local boats, travellers on a Tuscany holiday may be interested to learn.

Festivities will begin at 10:00 local time every morning at the Rotonda d'Ardenza, where winning bands of the national Italia Wave Band contest will perform, along with both Italian and international guest performers such as Superamazoo and Vanilla Sky.

The event will also be attended by Action Aid, an international organisation committed to fighting poverty and the causes of social exclusion.

Those who wish to combine their Tuscany villa holiday with more laidback pursuits can visit the Ancient Fortress, which is the home of Elettrowave, but also hosts non-musical presentations and shows with special guests daily.
