Jake and Reese 'want culinary inspiration on a Tuscany holiday'

A friend of the Zodiac star told Life & Style magazine that he had always wanted to open a restaurant before turning 30.

"Cooking is [Jake's] big hobby and his passion," a source told the magazine.

The 27-year-old thespian is developing plans for the venture with his childhood friend, chef Chris Fischer.

And what better way to muse on healthy and delicious food than a Tuscany holiday?

Gyllenhaal is reportedly planning to embark on a cycling tour of the region with his partner Reese, star of Election and Walk The Line.

The stars are not alone in their enthusiasm for Tuscany holidays if recent figures are anything to go by.

TripAdvisor has named historic city Siena as one of its users' top ten holiday spots in Europe.
