Have a 'heaven scent' Tuscany villa holiday
It has been claimed visitors to the region can sample some "delicious" Carmignano Docg wine at the seventh edition of the Di Vini Profumi wine festival also known as the Heavenly Aromas Wine Festival.
Local newspaper the Florentine said more than a dozen Carmignano Docg producers will show their faces and bring their grape produce to the festival while delicious traditional dishes will also be on the table.
It offers holiday makers renting a villa in Tuscany the opportunity "to visit Pratos artistic and cultural treasures and to discover the small town of Carmignano, home to the oldest Docg wine in Italy", the newspaper stated.
For those who wish to rent a property nearby, the town of Vinci may be a great choice and it is also the birthplace of one of the world's most famous icons - Leonardo da Vinci so there may be plenty of culture and history on offer in between the wine.
The festival takes place between May 29th and 30th at the Piazza San Francesco in Prato.
