Grassina procession provides religious culture on Tuscany holiday

Visitors can watch the procession which starts at 21:30 in the village and depicts the last moments of Jesus Christ's life.
The Annunciation, the resurrection of Lazarus and the Last Supper are acted out before the betrayal and Pilate's washing of his hands take place.
Bad weather is the only thing that would restrict this important event from taking place and if it is restricted the event will take place on Easter Monday instead.
