Go on a Tuscany holiday for the world's best food
According to Frances Tuke of the Association of British Travel Agents, Italy ranks high up alongside the likes of Spain and India for unique food experiences, something that might interest those considering a Tuscany villa holiday.
Ms Tuke advised those considering going on a food-focused break to conduct a little research beforehand in order to get the most from their holiday.
"If you are just literally wanting to go round and taste what's on offer, good guide books are often the place to start as there have been people there before you to make those recommendations," she explained.
According to the International Culinary Tourism Association, Tuscany is one of the most popular "foodie" destinations in the world.
The organisation advises those on a Tuscany holiday to plan ahead in case certain culinary establishments are closed during Italian holidays.
