Florence welcomes new sports facility
Dedicated to the two-wheeled sport, the Graziella Cenni Cyclodromo cost 250,000 euros to build and is the first of many buildings that will create an extensive sports complex in San Bartolo a Cintoia, according to the Florentine.
"The 13-hectare complex will feature squash courts, numerous football and rugby fields, a gym and a pool," the newspaper claims.
Anyone on a Tuscany holiday who loves cycling may wish to visit the centre and base their holiday in Bibbona, Livorna.
Found just a matter of miles from the region's coastline, the resort allows holiday makers to explore Pisa or Florence, Tuscany's beautiful sandy beaches or even discover the stunning surrounding scenery by bicycle.
A summer in Bibbona could receive two thumbs up from the two-wheelers.
