Florence photography exhibition 'could capture holiday makers' hearts'
The extravagant Millino was an architect, writer, a designer, photographer, racing car driver and even a pilot - and his topics of study were as interesting as his life.
According to the Florentine, this collection combines 140 photographs that were captured between 1936 and 1973 and the exhibit also includes several of his drawings and other material.
"The show reveals pieces of Mollino's photographic world, from architecture to skiing to his important work on female portraits," the newspaper says.
His work is on show at the Museo Nazionale Alinari della Fotografia, Piazza Santa Maria Novella, until June 19th.
The artist is rumoured to have once said "everything is permissible as long as it is fantastic" - and on a Tuscany holiday, everything may be fantastic.
