Florence holiday offers cultural getaway
The Museum of Natural History at the University of Florence was founded in 1775 and at present is holding an exhibition examining the cultural contrast between ethnography and anthropology through contemporary art.
The Rinascimento Virtuale Contemporary Art Exhibition is running now until January 7th 2009.
Botanical gardens at the site date back to 1545 and offer visitors the chance to look at over eight million specimens of flowers
Furthermore, visitors can look forward to seeing fossilized elephant remains and the centers extensive butterfly collection.
