The Museum of Natural History at the University of Florence was founded in 1775 and at present is holding an exhibition examining the cultural contrast between ethnography and anthropology through contemporary art.

The Rinascimento Virtuale Contemporary Art Exhibition is running now until January 7th 2009.

Furthermore, visitors can look forward to seeing fossilized elephant remains and the centers extensive butterfly collection.

Those looking for a Florence holiday may wish to stay at a James Villa property in Tuscany.

Holiday makers could take a day trip from here to visit the region's historic towns and cities including Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano and Florence.

The area is perfect for spending warm evenings out dining, or just exploring the local surroundings.
