Armed with a map and a mobile, holiday makers can set off from their Tuscany villa to the city and pretend they are Indiana Jones or Lara Croft.
According to the Florentine, the scavenger hunt cum guidebook is an interactive game that sends players around the city's streets in a "quest to discover its hidden treasures and tales, whose clues are hidden within 60 stories based on historical facts and local lore".
A series of clues leads villa holiday makers around the famous city, in search of "gems of urban, cultural and historic information-and legend".
Holiday makers who love to explore medieval buildings, winding streets and tight European alleyways may also enjoy discovering the rich history of Montecatini Val di Cecina from their nearby villa.
