Fancy a Pisa Marathon?
Taking place on May 17th, the marathon has been picked as one of the 101 races to run before by RunAbroad - and those who have seen the beauty of Pisa may not disagree.
According to Whatsonwhen, the race starts in Pontedera and ends 42,145 kilometres later in Pisa, as international athletes tackle a course that makes its way "through nature, history and the arts".
However, if you prefer your holidays to be a little more relaxing than a run through the streets of Pisa, it is sure to be a spectacle worth watching on a Tuscany holiday.
After seeing hundreds of runners try their all under the Tuscan sun, holiday makers can return to their luxurious villa, enjoy dinner under the stars and put their feet up with a bottle of chianti while they think about all the runners with their feet in ice buckets.
