Fabrica Europe to light up in Tuscany villa holiday

For lovers of art and culture the Fabricca Europa could be just the event to light up any Tuscany villa holiday and it is just a short drive away from a villa in the cultural idyll that is Florence.

This year's event is focused on the impact of African culture on European society. There will be a "gathering of ideas" where artists will compare research, roots and techniques of artists using their "stories, identities and affiliations" as the starting point.

Performers of the past have included Odin Teatret with Eugenio Barba, Erna Omarsdottir and Lucinda Childs, plus many more.

The event will take place between the May 3rd and 24th at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence and will be the 15th edition of the festival in Florence.

According to the event website, the festival aims to be a "laboratory" for comparison.
