Expo Pisa comes to the famous monument
As well as experiencing the monument any tourists travelling to the area in April may want to check out Expo Pisa, which attracts millions of exhibitors and guests who flock to discover the most recent trends in gardening, home furnishing, agriculture and more.
There is likely to be something for everyone here with demonstrations ranging from hair dressing events to kung-fu and horse and dog shows.
After venturing into Pisa to see the tower and the exhibition, tourists may want to retire back to a villa in one of the smaller, charming towns in the region.
The spa town of Casciana Terme is set in the Pisan hills and can offer a real taste of Italy and the cultural lifestyle of the area.
It is also surrounded by countryside - perfect for visitors to explore and enjoy after the busy streets of Pisa.
