Enjoy the blues on a Tuscany holiday

Taking place during the summer months is the Pistoia Blues festival which attracts many top names to the region.

Every July some of the biggest names in blues perform at the concert that is held in the main square of Pistoia.

Lenny Kravitz has already been confirmed for the 2008 event and will be performing on July 13th.

Visitors in the area may also want to visit Pistoia for a day trip and see one of Tuscany's well-preserved and charming medieval cities.

Holiday makers taking the trip from their Tuscany villa will find the Cathedral of San Zeno one of the most interesting architectural buildings in the town.

The Altar of St James is one of the most impressive features of the Cathedral and was finished in the 15th century.
