Cycle to take in the sights of Tuscany

Visitors may find this is the perfect place to rent a villa for a relaxing holiday in Italy and there may be no better way to explore and experience the area than by bike.

Starting in March and running throughout the season, the Bike Tour of Chianti is a full day experience taking in the countryside surrounding Florence.

Beginning at the Ponte Vespucci Bridge in the center of the city, the tour then heads out into the open and includes a break for lunch and a visit to one of the traditional Chianti vineyards in the area.

Tuscany has a distinctly rural character to it and one of the best ways to experience the region may be to get outside and explore in its pleasant climate and terrain.
