Creativity on a Tuscany villa holiday
And an upcoming festival in the city could be the ideal excuse for holiday makers looking for inspiration to book a trip to Tuscany.
In October, the Fortezza de Basso in Florence plays host to the four-day Creativity Festival, which boasts some 400 events spanning a range of activities, observes events guide What's On When.
Exhibitions and concerts nestle up against meetings and workshops on the diverse programme for the event.
Families planning Tuscany villa holidays can reportedly rest assured that there will be plenty of child-friendly action.
And famous faces at the event include "media guru" Derrick De Kerckhove and designer Joshua Davis.
Florence attractions include its historic centre, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1982.
