According to What's On When, Toscana Classica treats Tuscany holiday makers to an inspiring array of musical performances between May and September.
Held at the Chiesa Orsanmichele in Florence, the 2008 programme of concerts may whet the tastebuds of music fans looking for an excuse to visit the city on a Tuscany villa break.
Highlights so far have reportedly included Russian mezzo-soprano Anastasia Boldyreva, who performed on July 5th and 6th accompanied by Italian sopranos Caterina Maria di Tindari and Sarina Rausa.
And on June 22nd, Hungarian violinist Xenia Akeynikova performed with the Toscana Classica Orchestra.
"There are also two special concerts performed by the Solisti Fiorentini and Toscana Classica orchestras, which are held at Museo del Bargello," the website reveals.
Konnie Huq, the former Blue Peter presenter, is the latest celebrity to pronounce her love of Tuscany holidays, telling the Telegraph that a trip to Florence remains the best vacation she has ever enjoyed.
