Choose a Tuscany villa for the Pisa Expo
From March 28th to April 6th, Pisa is hosting an Expo. Visitors are expected to flock to the event to cast their eyes over the latest gardening, home furnishing, agriculture and catering trends.
Of course, Pisa is most famous for its leaning tower, and holidaymakers staying in a family villa in Tuscany can take in the city's most famous landmark having visited the Expo.
Originally designed to be a vertical construction, a poorly-laid foundation meant the tower started to tilt in a south-east direction soon after construction had started in 1173.
For the record, the tower leans at an angle of 3.97 degrees - it was measured for inclusion in the Guinness Book of Records.
Other places of interest for those staying in a cheap villa in Tuscany include Pisa's Knights' Square and the church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri.
