Britons 'enjoy romantic holidays to Tuscany'
In a recent poll, 75 per cent of Britons said they liked to take romantic holidays to destinations such as Tuscany, where they can enjoy fine food and visit cultural attractions.
The survey, carried out by Visitbirmingham.com, revealed that 38 per cent of Britons enjoy dining in fine restaurants on holiday, while over 30 per cent of people like to take in local landmarks.
Furthermore, it seems we are a nation of 'culture vultures', with three-quarters of people making an effort to visit at least one cultural attraction while on holiday.
Britons taking a Tuscany holiday this year will certainly find no shortage of quality restaurants and attractions on offer.
Some of Tuscany's cultural highlights include the Uffizi Gallery, Duomo Museum and the stunning Siena Cathedral.
