Botanical delights on a Tuscany holiday
In two months' time, Lucca hosts its famous botanical show, Murabilia, in news that may interest families planning Tuscany holidays this autumn.
According to events guide What's On When, the show takes place along the medieval walls that run between San Colombano and San Regolo, featuring more than 150 exhibitors from all over Europe.
Tuscany holiday makers can expect a diverse range of green attractions, from huge vegetables to rare species of plants, the guide reveals.
It states: "Supporting activities include art installations, tree-climbing workshops, competitions and the creative lab, an experimental area for children."
Murabilia takes place every year in September, opening between 9:30 and 19:30 local time.
Those wishing to visit Pisa as well as Lucca on their Tuscany holiday may be interested in a Santa Maria-based villa, which is a 45-minute drive from both attractions.
