Anima Mundi: Tuscany
The 'Anima Mundi' international festival in Pisa is celebrating its sixth year and is the perfect place for holiday makers with a love of classical music.
The event aims to be one of the most important events in the sacred music calendar and a strong line-up gives it every chance.
Artistic direction is steered by KML Foundation and Sir John Elliot Gardiner and the music will be played in the Baptistery, the Cathedral and the Monumental Cemetery.
The event finishes on 20th October and the Cathedral and the Monumental Cemetery in Pisa will play host to the final weekend of music in Tuscany.
Organised by the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, the event is an example of what holidaymakers can expect from classical Italian music.
Pisa's location as a city of culture bears itself to be a good host and the event is annual, so anyone missing out this year will be able to plan their trip for next year's event.
