Angel Academy of Art in Tuscany opens its annual exhibition
The Florentine calls the Angel Academy the "prestigious centre" of Italian art, claiming it teaches methods and techniques passed down through generations - and visitors can see the cream of the crop this year.
On May 15th, the 11th edition of the show will open and include works by from beginners up to faculty members of the academy - so there will be a vast array of talent on show.
"The main inspiration and intent of the school is the desire to combine theory and practice, conceptual observation and empirical capacity," the news provider says.
It has two locations - both can be found in the stunning 16th-century palazzi in the cultural hub of Florence.
While visiting the academy, holiday makers renting a villa in Tuscany can visit Florence's famous cathedral, the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.
