According to the Florentine, LA Law stars Michael Tucker and Jill Eikenberry are to perform in the city.
The married couple are appearing in Love Letters for the Florence International Theatre Company, which produces English language plays, on November 9th and 10th.
And the pair are no strangers to the Tuscany region, having bought property in nearby Umbria.
Tucker suggested that those planning a villa holiday at this time of year may find they can take part in some unusual activities.
"We are leaving for Italy next week and it will be the first time we'll be there in November, just in time for the olive harvest. We will pick olives for the first time," he was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile those who prefer the big screen can attend one of the many film festivals Florence is hosting throughout November and December, the Florentine notes.
