ART show attracts big crowds to Tuscany
Attracting over 200,000 visitors, the ART show displays a varied range of arts and crafts in the Fortezza de Basso in Florence.
About 750 exhibitors will make it to the event and several themes have been organised including Visions and Territories.
Holiday makers who visit the show can expect to see innovative handicrafts as well as national and international exhibits, all in the cultural and historic setting of Florence.
Fashion and jewellery are also a focus of the event and clothing and accessories are available to view and purchase.
Anyone getting peckish can also head to the Taste section where Italian and international food stalls are on display giving customers a wide range of delicacies to choose from.
The renaissance was an important era for the culture of Florence but the area is littered with architectural wonders as well as fine art.
One of the best known monuments is the Duomo, the domed cathedral and the Ponte Vecchio bridge which has multiple shops built along its edges, are fine examples of the areas beautiful architecture.
