'Prolific journalist' celebrated in Tuscany
A new exhibit documenting this life and works of Indro Montanelli - one of Italy's most famous journalists - has opened in Florence.
The event will run until September 13th and the Florentine newspaper claims it will highlight "moments from his prolific career including photographs, manuscripts of his various publications, personal letters and notes from his meticulous documentation of Italian history past and present".
Montanelli is known for accounting the most important events of the 20th century - and you could be there to share in the celebration of his life.
The exhibit will take place at the Museo di Fucecchio and Fondazione Montanelli Bassi, Fucecchio.
This is just one of many cultural events that take place in Tuscany every day, while the area is also known for its high-quality leather goods, crystal, terracotta and lace.
