'Art attack' to hit Tuscany

Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte takes place in Montepulciano between July 18th and August 1st - and you could be there to join in the fun.

The medieval town of Montepulciano can be found in the province of Siena in the south of Tuscany.

According to the Italian State Tourist Board, Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte is an event created to "promote art and culture and to support the works of new artists in the fields of music, dance, set design, cinematography and much more, in an effort to stage innovative creations and classics restyling".

Holiday makers who wish to explore the town and Siena could rent a villa in the attractive but cosy destination of Radicofani, which boasts stunning woodland scenery and a whole host of vineyards.

Visitors here can explore an old stranglehold on top of a hill that offers spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
