What to put in suitcase when going on Turkey villa holidays
When it comes to deciding what to pack when heading on a much-needed overseas break, such as to Turkey villas, Brits have been given some words of advice.
Ally Oliver, a fashion commentator and assistant editor of Closer Magazine, noted that the majority of females tend to carry a minimum of 25 per cent more clothing items than they need.
To reduce weight and clear up some space in the suitcase, Ms Oliver recommends placing each garment out in different piles, including dresses, shorts and swimwear.
"The rules are: if you don't a) love it or b) know it's really useful, then leave it behind because you won't wear it," the fashion expert continued.
Other tips given to those preparing to fly out to villas in Turkey by Ms Oliver include carrying no more than three pairs of footwear on a holiday, as well as packing cosmetics that can have multiple uses.
Her guide follows on from a study by GoCompare.com, which found the average woman requires 34 separate clothing items for a getaway, though the typical figure is usually nearer 60.
