Weather 'ideal in spring for holiday in Turkey'
Britons thinking of booking a holiday in Turkey, perhaps in a luxury coastal villa, have been advised spring is a great time to visit.
With the UK set to enjoy numerous work-free days in late April and early May due to standard bank holidays and Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, Tom Hall, editor at Lonely Planet, has compiled a list of top places to visit.
And he says Turkey is one of the nations that is just right at this time of year, as it is pleasantly warm without reaching the scorching temperatures of summer.
Commenting on his selection of the nation, as well as two others, Mr Hall states: "[They] have been very popular over the last few years, before they get too hot. I would certainly suggest some of those."
The young prince and his bride-to-be announced recently they will tie the knot on April 29th at Westminster Abbey, with the government later confirming it will mark the occasion with a public holiday.
