Water-themed events coming to Turkey in October

Brits with an interest in sea-going sporting activities may want to snap up villas in Turkey throughout October.

People with a love for ocean-bound pursuits are sure to find plenty of fun if they head to the destination in order to see the International Bodrum Cup next month.

Taking place in the Turkish resort of Bodrum, the competition is organised by the ERA Bodrum Yacht Club and features a yacht regatta for attendees to enjoy.

Bozburun is another location where those who admire vessels which roam the ocean waters should look to head to for a day out while in Turkey villas during October.

The destination will be hosting the Bozburun International Gulet Festival next month, which honours the small seafaring vehicle, the gulet.

Seeing as though the vessel was created in Bozburun, the village hosts a celebration that looks at the construction of the craft, as well as looking to get the product more recognised on the international market.
